Terms of Service

Last updated: March 15, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SlipPilot (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and SlipPilot LLC (“SlipPilot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

2. Description of Service

SlipPilot is a mobile-first SaaS application that enables independent contractors to create estimates, collect electronic signatures, generate invoices, and accept payment via Stripe. We do not process payments directly — all payments are handled by Stripe under their own terms of service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to operate a business in your jurisdiction. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

4. Account and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@slippilot.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Subscription and Billing

SlipPilot offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You may cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

6. Electronic Signatures

The e-signature feature captures a drawn signature, typed name, IP address, device user-agent, and a UTC timestamp. You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to comply with all applicable laws governing electronic signatures in your jurisdiction, including the U.S. E-SIGN Act and UETA. SlipPilot provides the technology; the legal validity of any signature depends on your specific use case and jurisdiction.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Send estimates or invoices for fictitious work
  • Attempt to access another user's account or data
  • Reverse-engineer or scrape the Service
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service

8. Customer Data

Your customers' names, contact information, and signatures are stored securely and used only to provide the Service to you. We do not sell customer data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Intellectual Property

SlipPilot and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SlipPilot LLC and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You retain ownership of your business data (estimates, invoices, customer records).

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that estimates generated through the Service will be accurate or enforceable.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlipPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings. Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days and then deleted.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app banner at least 14 days before they take effect.
